  • Develop and qualify thermal-hydraulic safety analysis methods for nuclear/advanced energy systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance modeling capabilities and support licensing
  • Create automated workflows for model prep, execution, post-processing, and repeatable analysis.
  • Document methodologies, applicability ranges, and numerical performance for design and licensing.
  • Support system transient analyses, code assessment, verification, and validation activities.
  • Contribute to plant design, safety analysis, and coupled simulation workflows.

๐ŸŽฏ Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years in system-level thermal-hydraulic modeling and method development for nuclear/advanced
  • Experience developing/improving engineering analysis methods, closure models, and optimization
  • Experience with RELAP5-3D, GOTHIC, SAS, or equivalent tools.
  • Strong understanding of thermal-fluid behavior and reactor system phenomena.
  • Experience with sensitivity analyses and identifying modeling gaps.
