📋 Description

• The Senior Safety Methods Engineer will develop, improve, and qualify engineering methods used for
• Develop system-level thermal-hydraulic analysis methods, including modeling strategies and closure
• Perform steady-state and transient system-level analyses to evaluate model behavior and performance
• Support method qualification activities, including numerical verification, applicability
• Develop and integrate closure models and empirical correlations related to heat transfer, pressure

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in system-level thermal-hydraulic modeling and method development for
• Experience developing or improving engineering analysis methods, including numerical approaches
• Experience with thermal-hydraulic analysis tools such as RELAP5-3D, GOTHIC, SAS, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of thermal-fluid behavior and reactor system phenomena for advanced designs.
• Experience conducting sensitivity analyses and identifying modeling gaps to drive improvements.
