Senior Sales Engineer, Commercial

📋 Description

• Understand Commercial customers' business needs and data replication requirements
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to Commercial audiences
• Run an organized proof-of-value to secure the technical win
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve Fivetran
• Partner with Sales reps to maintain customer focus and technical excellence
• Stay current on tech trends; assist teammates with blockers

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in data replication, sales engineering, or related field
• Strong technical background in database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication tech
• Experience with cloud data warehouses, transformation tooling, data catalogs, and BI tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, and NoSQL databases
