Senior Satellite Systems Designer - Platform Architect

📋 Description

• Define and mature spacecraft system architectures across space and ground segments.
• Translate objectives into technical requirements, interfaces, and verification plans.
• Lead requirements development, traceability, interface control, and verification planning.
• Perform system analyses, trade studies, mission analysis, and risk assessments.
• Drive cross-functional integration across hardware, software, RF, payload, ops, and ground systems.
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship; ensure standards compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of systems engineering, spacecraft development, or technical leadership roles.
• Proven track record delivering subsystems, work packages, or verification campaigns within larger missions.
• Strong understanding of spacecraft design and lifecycle across concept to operations.
• Experience with mission analysis, system modeling, budget derivation, and simulation (Matlab, Python, STK).
• Experience with requirements management, V&V, subsystem integration, and test planning.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration; effective communicator.
