Senior Scientific Programmer

📋 Description

• Own numerical solutions and algorithms behind GoldSim's engine
• Push practical improvements to GoldSim's numerical capabilities
• Participate in design discussions across the full development lifecycle
• Build GoldSim models for QA and customer needs
• Partner with founding engineer to formalize modeling methods
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to engineers, QA, and stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Masters or PhD in science or engineering with strong academics.
• Applied math and numerical methods background.
• Extensive C++ programming experience; familiarity with numerical libraries.
• Hands-on model-building to validate numerical algorithms.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Experience applying AI/ML to scientific software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Experience with Windows desktop apps; MATLAB, R, Tableau is a plus.
