Senior Scientist I Immunohistochemistry

📋 Description

• Independently design and execute single-plex and multiplex immunohistochemistry and
• Partner with pathologists and project teams to determine the most appropriate assay design and
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot assays using the Opal and Leica Bond Rx platforms with minimal
• Analyze results and present clear, well-organized findings with representative images and
• Provide technical leadership in IHC panel design, assay optimization, and complex assay development
• Apply a thorough understanding of image analysis to support the complete assay-development process

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology/chemistry or related field with 10 years of experience or master’s
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biology, pathology, life sciences, or a related discipline, with
• Demonstrated experience performing immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence assays
• Thorough knowledge of the Opal mIF platform, including assay development, optimization, and
• Experience with image analysis and the ability to understand how image-analysis methods affect
• Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage multiple projects and deadlines
