Senior Scientist I, Protein Analytics & Biophysics

📋 Description

• Lead and execute hands-on analytical and biophysical workflows to assess protein stability
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot separation workflows for protein characterization, including
• Perform and expand binding analyses, with a strong emphasis on SPR and related kinetic or
• Contribute to mass spectrometry workflows that characterize protein identity, molecular mass
• Apply scientific principles creatively to develop and adapt methods for new sample types, protein
• Design experiments, establish appropriate controls, interpret data, and recommend follow-up studies

🎯 Requirements

• Ph.D. in biochemistry, biophysics, analytical chemistry, protein science, or a related discipline
• Strong hands-on expertise in biophysical characterization of proteins, including stability
• Practical experience with protein separation science and chromatography, such as SEC, IEX, HIC
• Experience with SPR or related binding technologies is strongly preferred; experience with BLI or
• Experience with general mass spectrometry, proteomics, structural mass spectrometry, molecular
• Demonstrated ability to independently plan experiments, troubleshoot complex workflows, interpret
