Senior Scientist II / Principal Research Scientist I (Lab Head) – Development of Cellular and Binding-Assays for Pharmaceutical Biologics (all genders) (full-or part-time, regular)

📋 Description

• Lead design, development, and robustness of in-vitro cell-based assays for biologics.
• Mentor scientists; guide performance and development.
• Collaborate with R&D Bioassay and Operations labs (global).
• Assess protein–lipid–detergent interactions with expertise.
• Independently drive bioassay programs; adopt new tech.
• Support regulatory filings; publish and present; ensure GxP.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in biology/biochemistry/pharmacy with 4–6 yrs; or MSc with 8–12 yrs.
• ≥4 yrs in binding and in-vitro cell-based assay development.
• Strong analytical skills; knowledge of eukaryotic cell culture.
• Experience with complex assays (ADCC, ADCP, T-cell, reporter, cytotoxicity).
• Knowledge of QbD, DoE, and statistical data analysis.
• Leadership in a GxP environment advantageous.
• Fluent in English; very good German.
