4+ years of backend engineering experience with Node.js and/or Go
Experience with queueing systems (Pub/Sub, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Cloud Tasks)
Experience with complex distributed systems (consistency, idempotency, fault tolerance)
Hands-on with Redis or similar in-memory stores
Strong SQL or NoSQL database skills (schema design, indexing, query optimization)
Ability to write design docs and rigorous test cases
