Senior Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Own and evolve vulnerability management for app security (containers, deps, scans, runtime)
• Build security tooling integrated into CI/CD so security happens automatically
• Use AI to write code faster and automate analyses that would require manual review
• Assess and improve telemetry usage across our systems
• Work with engineering to ship tools and defaults that make the secure path easy
• Investigate security findings when needed, focusing on prevention and detection

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years experience software and/or platform engineering
• Deep experience in application security and vulnerability management
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally GCP/GKE
• Demonstrated habit of using AI tools (coding assistants, LLMs)
• Bias toward automation — write a tool for repetitive tasks
• Comfort with ambiguity and ownership
• Experience influencing engineering culture around security
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
