Senior Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Own Infrastructure Security: Design, implement, improve security controls across our fleet.
• Strategic Defense: Lead cyber security defense (posture, threat detection, vulnerability mgmt).
• Collaborative Architecture: Partner with ITOps, SysOps, DevOps and XOps to embed security.
• SIEM Evolution: Develop and maintain SIEM strategy and infrastructure for visibility.
• Mentorship: Educate and coach engineering teams on secure design.

🎯 Requirements

• Cloud & Container Mastery: GCP permissions and security in Kubernetes, Azure, on‑prem.
• Technical Depth: IDS, exploit dev, Linux ops, and security understanding.
• Security Architecture: Identify cloud design gaps; improve authentication, authorization, and bastion setups.
• Communication: Distill security risks for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Autonomy: Lead large projects with complex deliverables and foresee roadblocks.
• Standout Qualities: CISSP/Google GIAC certs; Open Source SIEM experience.
