Senior Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Own Infrastructure Security: design, implement security controls across fleet.
• Strategic Defense: lead cyber defense, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
• Collaborative Architecture: partner with ITOps, SysOps, DevOps and XOps to embed security.
• SIEM Evolution: develop and maintain our SIEM strategy and related infrastructure.
• Mentorship: educate engineering teams on secure system design.

🎯 Requirements

• Cloud & Container Mastery: GCP permissions/security in Kubernetes, Azure, on-prem.
• Technical Depth: IDS, exploit dev, Linux operations, security.
• Security Architecture: identify cloud gaps; improve auth, authorization, bastion setups.
• Communication: distill security risks for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Autonomy: manage large projects and foresee roadblocks.
