Senior Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Own infrastructure security across production, Kubernetes, and GCP.
• Lead cyber security defense: posture management, threat detection, vulnerability management.
• Collaborate with ITOps, SysOps, DevOps and XOps to embed security into architecture.
• Develop and maintain SIEM strategy and related visibility.
• Mentor engineering teams on secure system design.

🎯 Requirements

• GCP permissions and security in Kubernetes, Azure, and on-prem environments.
• Intrusion detection, exploit development, Linux operations, and security fundamentals.
• Identify cloud security gaps; improve authentication, authorization, and bastion host setups.
• Communicate security risks into actionable guidance for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex security projects autonomously.
• Certifications: CISSP, Google Security Engineer, or GIAC.
• Operational excellence with Open Source SIEM and Google Security Operations.
