Senior Security Engineer - Data Security

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain security platforms and tooling protecting Sigma's data.
• Develop scalable data discovery, classification, governance, and access controls via automation.
• Build CASB, DLP, DSPM, SSPM, insider risk, and data governance capabilities.
• Create DLP controls across cloud, OS, and decentralized datasets; tune prevention.
• Drive automation across DLP using LLMs and agentic AI to scale data protection.
• Design security controls for SaaS apps, collaboration tools, endpoints, and services.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Security Engineering, Data Security, or related roles.
• Bachelor or Masters in CS, Cyber Security, or similar.
• Strong software engineering mindset with production-grade tools, automation, and security platforms.
• Proven ability to build vs buy; scalable internal solutions.
• Experience designing insider threat and data protection tech (SIEM, DSPM, SSPM, DLP, UBA).
• Data security principles: classification, governance, access controls, encryption, key mgmt, lifecycle.
