Senior Security Engineer, Detection and Response

📋 Description

• Design and maintain detections, automations, and data pipelines.
• Develop tooling for alert quality and case management.
• Serve as primary Incident Commander for Europe, operating independently.
• Shape the follow-the-sun strategy and architecture for handoffs.
• Lead incident responses end-to-end and learnings automation.
• Perform forensic investigations and proactive threat hunting.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in security engineering, Infosec, IT, Infra/SRE, or IR
• 7+ years in Detection or Response, building detections and automation
• Proficient in production-grade code, scripting, automations, data pipelines
• Autonomous leadership; independent in distributed teams and incident command
• Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, SOAR; IR frameworks; cloud and containers
• Bachelor's in CS/Cybersecurity; advanced degree preferred
