Senior Security Engineer I

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions to protect Braze's users.
• Develop, enforce policies across cloud ops, product security, and systems.
• Collaborate to expand SIEM capabilities, detections, and alerting.
• Lead on-call rotations and respond to incidents and escalations.
• Build automation and tooling to scale security for a growing customer base.
• Mentor junior security staff and share security concepts.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Security Engineering focused on enterprise, network, and endpoint security.
• 3+ years in corporate security with hands-on, technical, user-facing implementations.
• Technical authority in a team with strong communication and organization.
• SaaS security experience; Email, Mac endpoints, IAM, CrowdStrike EDR, enterprise networking, and forensics.
• Ability to conduct end-to-end security reviews of SaaS apps, data flows, and access controls.
• Lead design and tuning of forensics programs across endpoints, networks, and cloud.
