Senior Servicing Attorney

📋 Description

• Manage and oversee servicing litigation, title matters, and escalated contested foreclosure
• Oversee title claims and coordinate appropriate legal responses and resolution strategies.
• Provide day-to-day legal support to the servicing organization on mortgage servicing matters and
• Research and prepare responses to qualified written requests, requests for information, and debt
• Review loan files and legal documentation and advise operational teams on applicable legal
• Provide legal guidance on modification agreements, successors in interest, customer escalations

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree required
• Active license and good standing to practice law in the applicable state
• 5–7 years of legal experience involving mortgage servicing, including debt collection, foreclosure
• In-house legal experience is strongly preferred
• Extensive knowledge of federal and state mortgage servicing requirements as well as investor and
• Strong understanding of CFPB requirements and applicable Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA
