Senior Software Architect

📋 Description

• Leads technical vision for at least one product line; directs teams to advance it.
• Sets quality standards and drives design decisions to prevent defects.
• AI-driven development expert; advocates for and drives AI-assisted tooling.
• Owns full development life cycle: requirements, analysis, design.
• Evaluates business risk and customer impact for strategic tech trade-offs.
• Mentors engineers in technical decision-making and risk analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 10+ yrs exp; BS in CS; or 8+ yrs with MS; or PhD with 6.
• Enterprise-scale software architecture experience in production.
• Mentor/lead tech direction as IC; no formal people mgmt.
• AI-augmented development workflow experience (Claude Code/Codex).
• AWS, C#, containerized workloads, ORMs, and GitHub Actions.
• PostgreSQL and React knowledge a plus.
