Senior Software Backend Engineer, Space Operations Intelligence  Autonomy (SOIA)

📋 Description

• Execute responsibilities aligned with Slingshots values and mission.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to advance SOIA.
• Deliver product requirements on time while maintaining stability.
• Participate in Agile software development and deployment processes.
• Build data platforms, microservices, distributed systems for SOIA workflows.
• Build and document APIs (REST, GraphQL) for high-volume real-time data.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 4-year degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
• Active security clearance; Top Secret preferred.
• Experience with Java/Kotlin, GraphQL, REST, Docker, Kubernetes, React, Python.
• Experience with AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Git and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions); Kafka and distributed systems.
