📋 Description

• Build connections to Canadian banks and brokerages via scraping and APIs.
• Develop tools to make data acquisition reliable and scalable.
• Use AI-assisted systems to reduce manual scraping and adapt to interface changes.
• Design systems that recover quickly when institutions change login flows.
• Collaborate with product, security, infra, and SRE to deliver balances and transactions.
• Improve automation to speed adding and repairing institutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with data acquisition or financial connectivity platforms (Plaid-like APIs, Flinks-like scraping).
• Strong Node.js skills, including asynchronous programming.
• Experience building or maintaining scraping systems using headless browsers.
• Comfort with environments where third-party interfaces change often.
• Understanding authentication flows, MFA, cookies, sessions, and rate limits.
• Experience parsing complex financial data such as balances, transactions, holdings.
