📋 Description

• Lead complex database refactoring across a large, mature SQL Server schema, including restructuring
• Diagnose and resolve performance problems at the source by reading execution plans, rewriting
• Modernize the data-access layer by migrating legacy and inline SQL in PHP and C# code into
• Harden data access for security and reliability by eliminating SQL injection through
• Build the tooling that makes database change routine, including migration and upgrade pipelines in
• Shape technical direction by defining SQL and data-access standards, documenting conventions, and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 4+ years in which writing and
• Expert-level T-SQL on Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization, execution plan analysis
• Proven track record of incrementally refactoring a large, legacy relational schema and the
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java, or an equivalent language, building backend services with Spring
• Hands-on experience with database migration and version-control tools such as Liquibase or Flyway

🎁 Benefits

• Base pay range: $100,000 to $140,000 USD per year
