📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate pipelines that generate millions of statements and tax slips
• Set architectural direction for the domain; guide tradeoffs across services and pipelines
• Own end-to-end scope from design to production, meeting deadlines
• Evolve data architecture for accuracy, scale, and a single source of truth
• Raise quality through code reviews, tests, and design discussions
• Mentor teammates with pairing and code reviews; shape AI-assisted tooling

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years backend engineering building scalable production systems
• Strong system design and architectural judgment across services
• Data engineering at scale: Spark or comparable; Postgres; design schemas and queries
• Comfort with Ruby, Python, and workflow orchestration (Airflow); depth in one and ramp others
• Enthusiasm for AI-assisted development and quality control
• Nice-to-have fintech, banking, or regulated domain experience
