📋 Description

• Lead architectural evolution of core storage engine components
• Drive cross organizational initiatives for observability solutions
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team focused on logs and metrics in Elasticsearch
• Drive continuous operational and system improvements with clean coding standards
• Serve as SME across Elasticsearch areas, mentoring engineers
• Triage, review issues and PRs with domain experts

🎯 Requirements

• Collaborate across functions and teams across projects
• Work autonomously in distributed teams via async communication
• Proven track record using AI to accelerate development and debugging
• Prompt engineering mindset to leverage AI with sound engineering judgment
• Implement novel techniques to index store and query time series or logs data
• Experience with data storage tech like Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Prometheus
