Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate backend services, APIs, data models, and data workflows.
• Build frontend features and UIs to deliver complete product workflows.
• Own product and engineering problems from discovery through design, implementation, deployment, and iteration.
• Collaborate with scientific, product, and operational teammates to understand real-world workflows and needs.
• Investigate complex problems, identify requirements, risks, and edge cases, and translate to technical approaches.
• Contribute proposals to technical design discussions and refine solutions with the team.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Backend systems design, build, and production operation
• Strong TS/Python or modern language experience; TS-first
• APIs, relational data models, and data processing workflows
• Frontend features/UI in production apps using React
• Software design fundamentals: boundaries, failure modes, testing, maintainability, performance
