Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Build Alpaca's algo trading platform with high performance.
• Design and architect platform across frontend, backend, and databases.
• Optimize for low latency, high throughput, and concurrency.
• Work with OMS/EMS/exchanges and algo trading domains.
• Contribute across multiple tech layers in a small team.
• Write code and drive decisions to deliver great UX.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong, experienced software engineer with lead experience is preferred
• Languages: C/C++, Go, Zig, Rust, Java, Scala, Python
• Low latency and high throughput optimization
• Messaging queues and brokers
• Algorithms, distributed systems, high availability, concurrency
• System design with OO data modeling and SOA
• OMS and RMS experience
• Experience with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes
