Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Maintain data ingestion pipelines across NHS, practice, and lab systems via APIs.
• Own BigQuery ingestion layer and downstream SQL Server/Azure processing.
• Identify and resolve ingestion issues; improve observability and monitoring.
• Handle enterprise customer support and tactical enhancements.
• Work in a distributed, brownfield environment with multiple deployments.
• Review and adjust SQL-driven commands used by the Delphi connector.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years data engineering with pipelines and ingestion (BigQuery, Airflow).
• 5+ years SQL Server and T-SQL, including stored procedures.
• 2+ years GCP tooling: BigQuery, Airflow, Cloud Composer.
• 2+ years Azure: SQL Azure, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps.
• Nice to have: .NET/C# experience for maintaining apps.
• Nice to have: Delphi experience in legacy environments.
