Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead design and development of backend services, APIs
• Own features end-to-end (architecture, code, tests, deploy)
• Write clean, well-tested code with TDD
• Break down complex work into manageable chunks
• Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team
• Mentor associate and mid-level engineers
• Deliver technical improvements (performance, reliability, scalability)
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations
• On-call duties: one week out of five weeks

🎯 Requirements

• Significant Java 15+ experience; 5+ years; distributed systems
• Deep OO programming
• Event-driven architectures or Domain Driven Design
• Love to work with TDD
• PostgreSQL/MySQL data modeling
• AWS, containers, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Fintech/payments or high-throughput domains (nice to have)
