Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead backend/API development to deliver scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with Product to design software and coach teams.
• Shape Nearmap's geospatial platform and AI data pipelines.
• Ensure sub-second latency and high throughput for APIs.
• Drive API projects in Nearmap's Warsaw hub.
• Work across time zones with distributed teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong backend expertise in Go and/or C#.
• API design and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD).
• Experience with distributed storage or content delivery.
• Proven experience leading backend teams delivering scalable APIs.
• Experience building distributed systems and data-access platforms in cloud.
• Empathetic, inclusive leader with strong communication.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
