Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Architect, build, and maintain the HiveMQ platform for globally scalable IoT deployments.
• Create self-healing software systems with state-of-the-art tools.
• Develop, implement concurrent, maintainable, and performant algorithms.
• Build, maintain and refactor existing codebases; extend APIs; improve test coverage.
• Work with profilers, benchmarking, and state analysis tools.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude Code and GH Copilot.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering with JVM/backend experience.
• Designing high-throughput, data-intensive apps; event-driven systems.
• Experience with NoSQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, ArgoCD.
• Proficient with Git, testing approaches, and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong ownership, teamwork, and ability to debug complex problems.
• Experience shipping business-relevant software; reliable, scalable backend.
