Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Design performance and benchmarking workloads that reflect realistic customer or product scenarios
• Build and improve internal tooling, test harnesses, automation, and reusable components
• Write and maintain Python code, adapting to related tools as needed
• Run benchmarks across cloud environments and DB platforms with fairness and repeatability
• Analyze latency, throughput, and scalability to identify bottlenecks and explain results
• Translate questions into technical plans, success criteria, and milestones

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software fundamentals, writing maintainable code, profiling, and debugging
• Hands-on with performance testing methods: load, stress, latency, scalability
• Experience designing benchmarking or performance-validation workflows
• Strong coding in Python or similar, plus ability to learn new stacks
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure, or GCP for running apps at scale
• Strong hands-on with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, Cassandra, or similar platforms
