Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain internal software platforms for Upstart Bank.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and data workflows with third parties.
• Design relational data models, auth, audit, and background processing systems.
• Write technical designs, architecture docs, and implementation plans.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or equivalent + 4+ years of experience.
• Experience designing, building, and operating production web apps.
• Experience designing relational DB schemas with PostgreSQL.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, integrations, webhooks, or distributed interfaces.
• Experience implementing authentication, RBAC, audit logging, and migrations.
• Strong collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams.
