Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain enterprise features for Toast’s products.
• Lead complex projects spanning multiple teams and systems.
• Collaborate with PM, UX, QA, and engineers to develop features and products.
• Partner with various Toast teams to ensure alignment and value delivery.
• Drive high-quality team output and solid technical decisions.
• Mentor engineers and participate in code reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend experience and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience building fault-tolerant, scalable, secure distributed systems.
• Strong SQL/NoSQL knowledge; understand when to use each datastore.
• Strong data structures and algorithms foundations.
• Passion for building great software; collaborative and respectful mindset.
