Build Alpaca's advisory services platform (Block Trading, Portfolio, IRA)
Architect and implement platform components across frontend, backend and DBs
Design for high throughput, low latency, and high availability
Work in a small, multi-disciplinary, early-stage startup
Must have software engineering experience with trading/exchange systems (OMS/EMS)

🎯 Requirements

System design with object-oriented data modeling; SOA
Senior-level software engineer with strong experience
Proficient in C/C++, Go, Zig, Rust, Java, Scala, Python
Low latency and high throughput optimization
Experience with messaging queues and message brokers
Experience with OMS and/or high-load financial transactional systems
