Senior Software Engineer; Analytics Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Design and build core parts of the query/compute engine powering analysis.
• Evolve compute API and semantic layer for a generic table.
• Unify core data model, including non-event data with event data.
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of query planning.
• Partner with Session Replay, Experiment, CDP, Query, and frontend teams.
• Take ownership of projects end-to-end from design through rollout.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong backend or distributed systems experience with OLAP databases.
• Experience with SQL, query planning, or APIs used by teams.
• Ability to balance flexibility, performance, and usability.
• Track record of owning ambiguous, cross-team projects end-to-end.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
