Senior Software Engineer, Applied AI

📋 Description

• develop AI-powered decision-support systems for healthcare and other regulated environments.
• develop distributed backend services, event-driven workers, job pipelines, APIs, and relational
• build intuitive user experiences using React and TypeScript to make AI capabilities understandable.
• establish AI quality assurance patterns including automated evaluations, regression testing
• evaluate models/frameworks for accuracy, latency, reliability, privacy, security, and cost.
• mentor engineers and raise engineering standards across the team.

🎯 Requirements

• Five or more years of software engineering experience with ownership of complex systems.
• hands-on experience building and operating production AI applications.
• hands-on experience with agentic software development and using AI coding agents to craft specs and
• deep expertise in at least one primary area (Python backend and distributed systems, or React and
• experience with retrieval, embeddings, context, memory, evaluation, monitoring, or AI agent
• strong judgment in testing, monitoring, privacy, security, and data governance.
