Senior Software Engineer (Athena)

📋 Description

• Build and maintain core components of the clearing house in Go on GCP.
• Take ownership of features from design through production with tests and observability.
• Work with staff and principal engineers to implement scalable architectures.
• Write backend systems to handle unstructured inputs and produce outputs.
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to incident response.
• Become a go-to engineer for core subsystems, leading multi-engineer efforts.

🎯 Requirements

• Solid backend engineering foundation; shipped and maintained production systems.
• Strong Go skills; experience with GCP and Terraform.
• Navigate unstructured data problems (parsing, validating, deduping) methodically.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and graceful degradation.
• Able to scope and drive features independently with minimal oversight.
• Security or infrastructure domain knowledge is a plus.
