• Own core systems end-to-end: schemas, APIs, and UI to production.
• Identify gaps and lead resolution of engineering problems.
• Design and build AI-powered features and LLM-backed automation.
• Drive technical design with proposals before coding.
• Mentor P2 engineers through code reviews and pairing.
• Build and ship incrementally; dozens of deploys per day; ensure reliability.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with production shipping.
• Ownership and accountability for outcomes; fix issues and prevent recurrence.
• Full-stack fluency across database to browser; API contracts.
• AI/LLM hands-on: production systems; latency, reliability, and cost.
• Agency and drive: identify important problems and act.
• Technical rigor, clear tradeoffs, and AWS deployment/monitoring skills.
