Senior Software Engineer, Backend

📋 Description

• Own major parts of our identity platform, such as token introspection, external IdP federation, or
• Lead design reviews and set the technical direction, testing practices, and operational standards
• Translate ambiguous requirements into scalable, secure designs for identity, access management, and
• Build and operate services end to end in Rust and Kotlin, and applications in TypeScript.
• Shape our product's direction by working closely with teams across engineering, product, and
• Mentor engineers and raise the standard of code review, reliability, and operational excellence

🎯 Requirements

• 5yrs or more production experience in Rust or Kotlin, ideally from a SaaS product environment, and
• A track record of owning a business-critical service in production, through design, delivery, and
• Deep interest or hands-on expertise in authorization, authentication, and security, OAuth2/OIDC
• Hands-on experience with large-scale cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Experienced using AI coding assistants and agents in day-to-day engineering, with sound judgement
• Skilled at resolving complex issues from logs, traces, and metrics, prioritizing for impact, and
