Senior Software Engineer, Backend

📋 Description

• Design and write with Go to improve availability, latency, and efficiency
• Explore new designs/architectures for scale and performance
• Participate in code and design reviews to uphold standards
• Engage in capacity planning, performance analysis, tuning
• Collaborate with product/experience teams to prototype features
• Work with infra to scale back-end services and root-cause analysis

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related
• 5+ years in software engineering in distributed systems
• Strong CS fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
• Experience running large-scale web services; systems internals and networking a plus
• Strong understanding of system performance and scaling
• Proficient in English communication
