Senior Software Engineer - Backend

📋 Description

• Build extremely large-scale platform products and services
• Serve Roku engineers and millions of devices/customers
• Collaborate with Product/Design from ideation to production
• Lead tech evaluations and promote best practices
• Manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Participate in Agile scoping, design, coding, testing, deployment

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems
• 5+ years on cloud-based platforms/infrastructure
• Deep understanding of microservices, data platforms
• Backend design/implementation leadership and code reviews
• Fluency with agentic tooling concepts is a plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering or equivalent
