Senior Software Engineer- Backend

📋 Description

• Build large-scale platform products and services used by Roku engineers and consumers.
• Collaborate with Product/Design to turn ideas into production deployments.
• Lead evaluating new technologies and drive best practices across the lifecycle.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Participate in Agile processes from scoping to maintenance.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software dev experience with Java; Python is a plus.
• Experience building large-scale cloud services, ideally on AWS.
• Experience selecting data stores and analyzing trade-offs.
• Experience with in-memory caching layers (Redis, Redis Cluster, Memcached).
• Track record of monitoring deploy quality and troubleshooting production systems.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end web architecture from device to data center.
