Senior Software Engineer, Backend

📋 Description

• Building and operating critical, large-scale systems that manage massive volumes of financial
• Navigate a complex fintech environment with numerous compliance regulations, translating internal
• Lead cross-functional alignment and provide technical direction for multi-team projects
• Build large-scale (petabyte-size) financial data platforms, solutions, and pipelines using Big Data
• Debugging production issues across the stack, analyzing complex datasets and designing large-scale
• Executing projects related to insights into Stripe’s financial performance across multiple Stripe

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security
• 5 years of experience programming in Java, Scala, or Python
• 5 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable distributed systems
• 5 years of experience debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
• 5 years of experience with different testing tools and frameworks including JUnit, Mockito, and
• 4 years of experience developing complex SQL queries, analyzing datasets and designing large-scale
