Senior Software Engineer (backend)

📋 Description

• Influence technical direction and architecture of backend systems for job processing and code
• Design, build, test, and maintain robust, high-throughput systems.
• Improve performance and scalability of job/action processing.
• Develop controls for prioritization, execution management, and multi-tenant workload balancing.
• Build capabilities for safe code execution within the platform.
• Investigate complex infra/runtime issues using logs, traces, metrics, tests, reproductions.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend fundamentals; high-throughput, distributed systems.
• Experience or interest in Linux systems, networking, process isolation.
• Experience with container runtimes, orchestration, code execution platforms, infra tech.
• Knowledge of filesystems/storage, POSIX behavior, crash recovery a plus.
• Experience with Rust or Go; beneficial familiarity with Ruby, Rails, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL
