Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Identity International)

📋 Description

• Own and deliver quarterly goals; lead engineers through ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product, design and analytics; articulate constraints and risks.
• Proactively identify issues and lead in solving them.
• Support operations and availability; create and monitor metrics; on-call duties.
• Foster quality and ownership; set or improve code review and design standards.
• Develop talent by providing feedback and guidance; lead by example.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale with Python or Kotlin.
• Experience building highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes.
• Define technical plans for major features with elegant design.
• Proficient at making large codebase changes and building safe tooling.
• Strong communication to collaborate with a global engineering team.
• On-Call Rotation is required for this role.
