Senior Software Engineer (Backend): Layer 1 Crypto Payments

📋 Description

• Design and build Layer1 blockchain infrastructure powering high-throughput crypto payments.
• Build and evolve blockchain network integrations and custody infra.
• Contribute to Layer1 architecture ensuring reliability, security, and data integrity.
• APIs for the digital asset lifecycle: addresses, deposits, withdrawals.
• Drive observability and reliability: monitoring, alerts, incident response.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering squads to deliver features.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend software engineering; proficiency in Java/Kotlin.
• Experience designing, building, and operating microservices in distributed systems.
• Strong PostgreSQL and event-driven architectures (Kafka, SQS/SNS).
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD experience.
