Senior Software Engineer (Backend): Ledger - Wallets

📋 Description

• Own and evolve wallet lifecycle services (creation, activation, blocking, termination).
• Integrate across domains: collaborate with Digital Assets, Fiat, Onboarding, Billing.
• Design for reliability and scale: hexagonal architecture, performance optimization.
• Own operational excellence: on-call rotations, incident response, production monitoring.
• Ship with quality: well-tested, well-documented code; contribute to architecture reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend engineering in Java/Kotlin with Spring Boot.
• Distributed systems: microservices, event-driven (Kafka, SQS), PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis.
• Wallet/account lifecycle experience with state machines and auditability.
• Domain-driven design and hexagonal architecture.
• RESTful API design for internal and external use.
• Collaborative and proactive communication across time zones (remote-first).
• Production ownership: on-call, incident response, monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, Micrometer).
• CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, observability tooling.
