Senior Software Engineer (Biometric Authentication)

📋 Description

• Own architecture for a strategically critical product area, prioritizing scalability and security.
• Lead real-time matching at scale and resilient event-driven services.
• Establish CI/CD and observability foundations for dependable services.
• Set and raise engineering standards; mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with engineers, ML scientists, and product teams to solve identity problems.
• Build scalable APIs and event-driven services used by teams and customers.

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience building and operating large-scale apps (Python preferred)
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, modular design, and SOLID principles
• Experience building scalable, maintainable APIs and working with message queuing concepts
• Fluency with CI/CD, monitoring, and running reliable, high-throughput services in production
• Comfort with a range of testing strategies for robust software
• Working understanding of relational databases and structured logging systems
