Senior Software Engineer, Data Engineering

📋 Description

• Build scalable, fault-tolerant data processing (batch/streaming) at scale.
• Create data pipelines and surface analytics to inform decisions.
• Own data mapping, transformations, and data quality.
• Debug low-level systems, measure performance, optimize clusters.
• Participate in architecture discussions and roadmap ownership.
• Maintain and evolve platforms with newer tech stacks.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive SQL skills
• Proficiency in Python
• Hadoop/HDFS/YARN/MapReduce, Hive, Kafka, Spark, Airflow
• Presto/Trino experience
• Data modeling for scalable data architectures
• AWS or GCP experience; Looker a plus
• 8+ years data engineering experience
• BS in Computer Science; MS preferred
