Senior Software Engineer (Data Engineering and Infrastructure)

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data into the data warehouse.
• Develop and manage data infrastructure components using AWS and Terraform.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, autonomy engineering, and product teams to meet data needs.
• Optimize data processing for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging for data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Champion data governance, quality, and security best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a data focus.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or C++ for data engineering.
• Experience with big data frameworks (e.g., Presto/Trino, Spark).
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data services (S3, Redshift, BigQuery, Glue).
• Strong SQL knowledge with relational and NoSQL databases.
