Senior Software Engineer, Data Engineering Platform

📋 Description

• Own blockchain network infrastructure design that abstracts complexity into platform APIs
• Lead multi-quarter initiatives (new chain integrations, refactors) to improve latency.
• Define APIs, SLOs, and observability for your systems, including on-call ownership.
• Partner with product and platform teams to establish data contracts and ship SDKs.
• Build deep knowledge across blockchain protocols (Bitcoin, Ethereum) to simplify cross-chain ops.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering with ownership of production services in SOA
• Design, scale, and maintain distributed systems for high-throughput, low-latency workloads
• Hands-on with at least two: Golang, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, or similar infra
• Direct experience with blockchain protocols or crypto infrastructure (Ethereum/Bitcoin)
• Ability to decompose monoliths into well-bounded microservices with clear APIs
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve outcomes
